Beginning in February, 1973 and continuing thru December, 1974, RICHARD'S NIGHT CLUB featured some of the best musical groups and entertainers to ever perform on stage in Atlanta. (See full list of performers)
At full capacity, the club seated 750 people, which included two large bar areas, VIP booths, table and chair seating, as well as dance floors, located on either side of the stage. The nightclub featured a full kitchen, but only served a limited menu. There was also an overflow bar area, known as Little Richards', which served to hold patrons awaiting entrance into the main club area between sets.
RICHARDS' was generally open six night per week, Monday through Saturday nights..All Artists who performed were contracted to perform two sets nightly, including both the opening acts, and our headliners. Most of the time, the acts were booked to play full week engagements, however their scheduling would only permit a two or three night stand.
Ticket prices for admission were generally $1.00 on Monday and Tuesday nights; $2.00 on Wednesday and Thursday nights; and $3.00 on Friday and Saturday nights, if you absolutely had to wait until the weekend.
